The Preliminary Examination includes a screening test consisting of a multiple-choice-type paper carrying a maximum of 200 questions, each equal to 1 mark with 1/4 negative marking for each wrong answer.
This test is conducted to assess:
- General knowledge and caliber of the candidate
- Power of expression
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of objective-type legal problems and their solutions
